Dr. Dennis M. Miller is a South Bend (Clay Township) native. He attended St. Joseph High School, where he graduated with high honors and earned an academic scholarship to Purdue University, West Lafayette. He then attended and graduated from Indiana University Dental School, Indianapolis. After completing dental school he volunteered for service in the US Navy and served with the Marines in Vietnam, earning the Navy Commendation Medal. He also was stationed at the Great Lakes NTC near Chicago. Dr. Miller returned to the South Bend area and has been practicing dentistry for over 30 years. He enjoys caring for patients with diverse needs and helping to restore and maintain their dental health to the maximum. In order to accomplish this, Dr. Miller continues to learn about the latest in dental techniques and ideas through his attendance at the many continuing education courses on emerging topics in dentistry. His special interests are in the fields of endodontics and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Miller has been active in the community through membership in the South Bend Jaycees, American Business Club, St. Joseph High School Board and the former Memorial Hospital Dental Clinic. He also served as the president and treasurer of the North Central Dental Society, Mishawaka Dental Society, and was a member of the Indiana University Dental School Board of Trustees. Dr. Miller has been married for over 35 years to his wife Kathy, and they have two daughters, a son-in-law, and three grandsons. He enjoys golfing, fishing, skiing, reading, and playing with his grandchildren. Education
